Self-Study Option

We have a self-study option for people who can not attend our live classes. The self-study program includes the same comprehensive textbooks with past exam questions and answers which we use in class. Over 3,000 old exam questions and answers are included in the texts and in P.C. software drills. We also include the Magic Memory Outline templates on disk to help you make your own final review outlines. You can use the CD-ROM as you work through the textbook and/or for your final preparation for the exam.

The price is $97 per part including the text and software. This includes domestic freight by UPS. All four parts are reduced to $360.

Objectives - You will learn:

This course covers all the topics covered on the CMA exam. The four parts of the exam and a brief dexcription of the topics covered are as follows:

• CMA Part 1 - Business Analysis. Coverage in this part includes Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Finance and Global Trade, Internal Controls, Quantitative Methods, Financial Standards and Assurance, and Ratio Analysis.
• CMA Part 2 - Management Accounting and Reporting. This portion of the exam covers management and financial accounting topics including budgeting, cost terminology and concepts, cost assignment, information management, performance measurement, financial statement concepts, and measurement and disclosure.
• CMA Part 3 - Strategic Management. This course covers strategic planning, strategic marketing, corporate finance, decision analysis, and investment decisions.
• CMA Part 4 - Business Applications. This course introduces the writing of essays with 3 new major topics added. The new topics are business ethics, management and organization, and communications. Essays are also written for topics covered in CMA parts 1, 2 and 3. Therefore, a review of the topics covered in the books of parts 1, 2 and 3 is recommended.

You will gain:

• The knowledge necessary to take and pass the CMA examinations.
• QAS CPE credit of 20 to 34 hours per part

The CMA Review is an overview course with no prerequisites and requiring no advance preparation. However, as a review, it is assumed that you have had some exposure to the topics presented.
